Ventilated containers are a good choice for shipping those goods that may produce fumes or generate gases if stored in an unventilated area for long periods of time. It is critical that the most appropriate container for the type of cargo to be shipped is used.

International shipping containers must have a valid safety plate also called a CSC Plate (Container Safety Convention). This plate is assurance to the shipper that the container has been inspected for safety and stability. There are many variations on the standard container, so it is imperative that the shipper select the proper container to ensure maximum protection of goods. If cargo is too large for a standard container, it can still be shipped internationally utilizing a roll-on roll-off vessels which employ ramps for loading and offloading.
